Legacy of Skywalker
Card previews are still under wraps, but the set is a standard booster expansion expected to spotlight the Skywalker family across every major era of the franchise. Its format is confirmed: it will be Premier-legal at launch, so it's eligible for high-level competitive play, up to and including Galactic-level tournaments.
System Overload
Fantasy Flight has confirmed Legacy of Skywalker as the first Star Wars: Unlimited set of 2027. It will be a standard booster set, built to cover the Skywalkers from every era of the saga.
That's everything that's been shared. No cards, no leaders, no mechanics and no release date have been revealed yet.
Icons
Icons 2027 Edition is a new kind of release for Star Wars: Unlimited, a mini set added as a fourth entry in the yearly cycle. It arrives this fall.
- 194 cards, against 250 or more for a standard set
- Every Common is a reprint, some with new art. So are some Uncommons. The remaining Uncommons plus all Rares and Legendaries are new
- Every Rare and Legendary is a unique unit built around a fan-favorite character
- No new mechanics and very few complex abilities, but power levels comparable to a standard set, unlike Intro Battle: Hoth
- Premier-legal at launch, reprints included, until it rotates in March 2028 alongside A Lawless Time, Ashes of the Empire and Homeworlds
- Eight new leaders, including Darth Vader and Leia Organa
On products: no Spotlight Decks and no Carbonite Edition packs. Boosters are cheaper but hold only 9 cards with no guaranteed leader or base, so they aren't built for draft or sealed. A booster 4-pack bundles four packs for a dollar less than buying them separately, with an exclusive alternate-art Cassian Andor. The Icons Starter Box includes the Vader and Leia leaders, two prebuilt 30-card decks, preset non-random deckbuilding packs to open between games, and two real boosters at the end.
Galaxy at War
Galaxy at War was announced in the July 2026 Galactic Report, alongside Legacy of Skywalker and System Overload. So far Fantasy Flight has only given the name: no cards, no mechanics, no date. According to trade outlets covering the presentation, Galaxy at War and System Overload are Twin Suns format products rather than booster sets, though that hasn't been officially confirmed.
