Ravensburger revealed a big chunk of its 2027 game plan at D23, the ultimate event for Disney fans. Here's what matters.
A Digital Version of Lorcana Is on the Way
This was the announcement that closed out the panel: a digital version of Disney Lorcana is officially in development, playable on desktop and mobile.
No date, no confirmed platform, no details on how the game will work for now. Ravensburger has only opened a sign-up page so you can be the first to know when public testing begins: disneylorcana.com/digital.
Set 15: Into the Inkdark (Q1 2027)
The first set of 2027 puts the villains front and centre, with Hades headlining. Illumineers will have to make their way through a valley of giant glimmers and cavernous mines to siphon off enough of his power before things go sideways.
Set 16: Cosmic Quest (Q2 2027)
Next stop: space. Ariel and Flounder show up in cosmic gear in the first artwork, and that's all we know about this set for now.

Collector Boosters Are Coming
Collector Boosters make their debut with Into the Inkdark and will become a regular part of every set going forward.
What's in a pack:
-
12 premium cards with a textured foil treatment
-
Better odds of pulling Enchanted and Iconic cards
-
Access to the new Illustrious rarity: these cards are serialized, with only 23 numbered copies of each one ever printed. The first one revealed is Maleficent – Biding Her Time, illustrated by Kendall Hale.
One important note: nothing changes in regular boosters. Foils, Enchanted, and Iconic cards will keep showing up exactly as before. Collector Boosters are an addition to the lineup, not a replacement.
One catch: Ravensburger specified that Collector Boosters will be produced in limited quantities and distributed through Ravensburger Play Hub stores, the Ravensburger online store, and select Disney locations. Availability at retailers is still to be confirmed.
