Earlier this month we talked about changes coming to The Mythic Society, these will be effective this upcoming Monday (February 1st). We also said that we would be moving our subscription model away from Twitch in a near future, that future is now!
Starting February 1st, our tournaments will require an entry code which you will find once you join our Patreon page!
Twitch was unfortunately too restrictive in what we could and could not do, and it was very unintuitive to understand what The Mythic Society offered. Patreon is a million times better at that, the interface is incredible and the flexibility lets us rearrange the subscription tiers.
Subscription Tier Update
(note that these prices are in CAD, our Patreon page should display in your local currency.)
The benefits will remain the same, but we ajusted the pricing. We received feedback that people wanted to try Tier 2 and 3, so we made them a little bit cheaper. We also made Tier 1 is tiny bit more expensive to balance it out.
I had a Twitch subscription for February, what do?
If you had a Twitch subscription that expires sometime in February, we will make sure that you can still enter our tournaments. It requires a bit of manual work, but fortunately it will only affect February until everyone switches to Patreon. Here are your options:
1. Message ''PMayne#0079'' on Discord, provide a screenshot of your Twitch subscription and we will give you the equivalent + bonus in Mythic Store credits acting as a sort of refund. Then you can join our Patreon and register normally.
2. If you do not want to get a refund in store credit, message ''GoblinCredible#5356'' or ''PMayne#0079'' on Discord before each events, and we will manually add you upon providing a screenshot of your Twitch subscription.
